We can build a specialized adventure for your school group, team or program. Outward Bound Costa Rica courses are led by certified instructors who nurture leadership development and personal growth through wilderness-based adventure activities in a bilingual setting.

Whether you are looking to focus on expeditions, water sports, service, language and cultural immersion, adventure, team building or leadership challenges, we can help you build an amazing trip to Costa Rica, Nicaragua or Panama. Who Can Build an Adventure?

Any group of five or more can design a customized Outward Bound experience. Participating groups include: middle and high schools, higher education institutions, alternative break and service programs, girl and boy scout troops, sports teams, corporate teams, faith-based organizations, and friends and families.

We welcome participants of varying ages. Your itinerary will be customized to the fitness levels, goals and objectives of your group.

Scuba Diving Emphasis Example

Become Scuba certified on course, or build a course around Scuba diving. Spend your days exploring the underwater world of Bocas del Toro, Panama and camp under the stars near the clear blue ocean waters at night. Whitewater Emphasis Example

Whitewater rafting is one of our specialties here at Outward Bound Costa Rica. With so many rivers in-country to take advantage of, who could resist a trip that offers the chance to test the rapids of different rivers all within an action-packed itinerary?
