The Water & Wave course will challenge you in a unique way by combining Outward Bound’s philosophy of personal growth with some of the best waves and whitewater in Costa Rica – for that matter, in the entire world.
Earn up to 12 academic credits while surfing legendary warm-water breaks, paddling down amazing, jungle rivers, earning your scuba certification and expanding your cultural awareness. You’ll return home with new skills, new memories and a new sense of self.
This course is open to males and females, ages 17 and up who are looking for an alternative study abroad experience and have a specific interest in surfing and water activities.
