New 2010 Courses & Upcoming Adventures
All of the 2010 dates and prices are up on our website as we are preparing for another great year! Here are some of the new courses we’re excited to offer:
 NEW: Get SCUBA certified in Panama!
Three of our new courses give you the chance to get NAUI SCUBA Certified in the warm, tropical waters around Isla Solarte, Panama:
- 15-Day Volcano Exploration & Panama Adventure: Backpack among two of Costa Rica’s tallest volcanoes, Volcan Irazú and Volcan Turrialba. After exploring this area and meeting the local community through homestays, you will travel to the island of Solarte, Panama for activities such as snorkeling, sea kayaking, biking, wakeboarding, caving or sailing in addition to earning your SCUBA certification.
- 10-Day Panamanian Kayak Adventure: Kayak during the day, exploring numerous islands and their unique ecosystems. After the sea kayaking phase, relax on Solarte while taking part in different water activities and earning your SCUBA certification.
- Girl Scout’s Underwater Explorers: Integrate hiking, homestays, community service, rafting, and SCUBA diving through this empowering, girls-only adventure. After backpacking throughout the jungle, live the island life while participating in a variety of water sports & earning your SCUBA certification.
Also, we have two great Adult (21+) courses coming up this winter:
- Adult Reconnect with Nature: Backpack, raft, surf, waterfall rappel, and more. This course mirrors our classic Multi-Element course, but it’s for adults.
- Adult Surf Getaway: Unwind on Costa Rica’s Pacific coast, enjoying our beach base house in Manuel Antonio and camping on the beach. Our surf courses cater to both beginners and experienced surfers, and allow you to take a break to experience Costa Rican culture.
If you have a group that wants to experience Costa Rica Outward Bound, contact custom@crrobs.org and we will create a customized course itinerary. We can specialize our itineraries for any group- whether you’re a school group looking for an alternative spring break destination or a family looking for a new way to bond.
What else is new? We’re going paperless with our enrollment forms, which will benefit the environment & make it easier for our students to complete.
